Unlike other safety devices or EV chargers that might monitor heat in the cable or vehicle, the Azara Outlet is engineered to detect dangerous heat buildup inside the wall receptacle, where failures most often occur. This is a crucial distinction, addressing the exact point of potential electrical fire risk.

Automatic Power Disconnect

At the first sign of overheating, the Azara Outlet automatically and instantaneously shuts off power at the receptacle, eliminating the fire risk before it can escalate.

Optional Smart Home Integration & Data
Choose our Smart version for advanced capabilities, including live temperature monitoring, access to historical data, and real-time alerts sent directly to your device. This transforms the outlet into an active data-gathering node, offering predictive maintenance insights and remote oversight.

Future-Ready with GFCI Capability
The Azara Outlet is being designed with optional GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protection. This is a significant advantage, as current National Electrical Code (NEC) changes are likely to require GFCI protection for all EVSE, and currently no other 240V GFCI outlets exist for 30A and 50A applications.
