Thermal Monitoring Right at the Source
Background Story
The most satisfied drivers of plug-in vehicles utilize Level 2 electrical service at home to perform quick charging multiple times a week, for long durations, typically overnight. Progressively, the 240 Volt service lines lose connection strength to the outlet and can result in excessive heat during usage. Even with periodic maintenance of the outlet, this over-heating can result in a degradation of the outlet integrity that could lead to an electrical fire.
How We Can Help
Azara Energy is developing thermally monitored electrical outlets for EV charging and other high-current applications.
Typically, electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) only monitors for thermal events within the cable or at the vehicle connection. Our patent pending Azara Outlet will monitor for thermal events inside the receptacle, safely disconnecting power at the source.
Mission
At Azara Energy we assist homeowners in securing their properties with advanced solutions to protect against home electrical fires.

Azara Outlet
The Azara Outlet is designed with a primary focus on trust and reliability. This means all outlets come with our patent pending technology to automatically disrupt power delivery upon a thermal event at the receptacle. Upgraded clamp-down input wire terminals provide a more secure connection than standard screw-down terminals, reducing the concern for heat generation. Smart versions will also be available with additional features such as live temperature monitoring, historical data, and real-time alerts. This allows users such as landlords and rental home owners the ability to monitor EV charging trends at their properties remotely.
